Not far from Bruxelles-Midi
Idem
Place Saint-Lazare / close to the North station
This blog reflects my perception of Brussels and is also a place for random pictures (which aren't necessarily distinctive for this town but which are all taken here). Just to say that it's not about perfectly framed/cropped/saturated pictures. Enjoy!

ART NOUVEAU
This Tassel Town House (Rue Paul Emile Janson) made Horta famous and was the start of the Art Nouveau period (picture from http://www.abruxelles.be)
Detail of an Art Nouveau house from architect Albert Roosenboom.
(Rue Faider, Ixelles)
Albert Ciamberlani House (Rue Defacqz / Ixelles)

Detail of a house by architect Hankar, also Rue Defacqz
This beauty was designed by Gustave Strauven (a Horta pupil) for painter Georges de Saint-Cyr. I'll take a better picture after the restoration.

ON HOLIDAY - BY MISTAKE
I like this one! (Marolles)
You look straight into a tiny kitchen (city centre)
I dont know what this is. It's just an open garage an all the walls are tiled (Marolles)
Mark the 'go away' (Marolles)
Window dressing (Ixelles)
Front door in disguise (Marolles)
Who's missing?
What's missing?
